Sunday of the Word of God — Niedzielą Słowa Bożego
Pope Francis has declared that the 3rd Sunday of Ordinary Time will now be known as “Sunday of the Word of God”.
“For this reason, the Church has always venerated the Scriptures as she venerates the Lord’s Body. She never ceases to present to the faithful the bread of life, taken from the one table of God’s Word and Christ’s Body.”

Musimy wejść w bliską relację z Pismem Świętym, w przeciwnym razie nasze serca pozostaną zimne, a oczy zamknięte, dotknięte niezliczonymi formami ślepoty.
Słowa te czytamy w Liście Apostolskim w formie Motu Proprio „Aperuit illis”, w którym Papież ustanawia w całym Kościele III niedzielę zwykłą Niedzielą Słowa Bożego, „aby w Ludzie Bożym wzrosła religijna i bliska znajomość Pisma św.”
